Before my exams, I didn't have much time to learn the chapter 7 kanjis from the Tobira textbook. If it weren't for the isolation situation and university being closed I would've learn chapter 1-8 kanji vocals by April ready for the exams. Therefore during my spare time today I decided to get back in to the habit of studying my japanese vocabs

Firstly, how I usually practice my reading & writing vocal is by constantly rewriting it inside my genkouyoushi. By doing this I am able to remember not only the stroke order. Muscle memory I think is they key for remembering how to write kanji from my experience.

The hardest kanjis I struggled to remember to were ,丸い(round), 深い(deep), 命(life). For some reason with this chapter I found it easier to remember the compound kanjis in comparison to the single kanjis.

For me, it is necessary to make cue cards to go along with each chapter. I use these cue cards whenever I want to go back and practice my reading and writing. The more I use them, the more I remember. I recommend doing the same.
